Hello to all,

It’s hard to believe that it’s already a month past Labor Day.  I hope everyone had a great summer and have enjoyed the great weather we have had so far this fall.  It’s that time of year again when all boats and kayaks must be removed from the boat storage area.  Any boats or kayaks not removed by October 15th will be removed by SPIA at the owner’s expense.  We again need to do work in that area to replace the two posts that the Con-com has approved, but they will also be watching to make sure that we abide by the new rules that they have put in place.  Next season we hope to have the new posts and chain in to make more space available and we will have the kayak racks in place as well to make storage easier and more organized. Remember, we know whose boat or kayak is who’s due to the registration numbers, PLEASE don’t make us have to remind you to remove yours.

Also, remember that we have new ways to communicate with our fellow SPIA members:

  • Click here..SPIA is on Facebook!  Connect with SPIA on Facebook to learn about upcoming events, the latest news and to see pictures from previous events.

URL: www.facebook.com, login or create an account.
Search for: SPIA, West Hyannisport
Click the “Like” button and you’re connected!

As in past years, please save your parking pass as we will likely use them again next year in order to save money.  Also remember that if you have not paid your Annual Dues please do so, Seaside Park is Our Little Piece of Paradise and it’s every owner’s responsibility to help with maintenance and upkeep and with all the time and hard work that has been put in lately, it’s looking great!

All the best and hope to see you soon on The Avenues,
