Celebrating our 130th year!
Seaside Park was created in 1893 as a place for families to gather during the summer
and enjoy all the benefits that Cape Cod had to offer. From its humble beginnings of
a few seasonal cottages and Little Beach, it has developed into a little slice of paradise
for over 200 families to enjoy with their family, friends and neighbors year round.
Welcome to the many new families who have purchased homes on “The Aves” recently,
and welcome back to all the families who have been enjoying Seaside Park for many
years, and for some many generations.
This summer we are planning many exciting events: Art in the Park, July 4th Parade, and
the Neighborhood Picnic; check out the calendar inside this newsletter for dates
and times of all these summer events. You will also find inside an update on Halls
Creek and a breakdown of SPIA, Inc., its role in Seaside Park, and the benefits of
membership.
The first general meeting will be June 24th at 9:30am under the tent at Little Beach.
Tables will be set up to collect dues and register your kayaks and dinghies after the
meeting. We will also be selling Seaside Park hats, T-shirts, etc. so be sure to bring
your checkbook/cash with you!
Looking forward to seeing you all at the meeting on the 24th!
All the best,
Charlie Cormay
President, SPIA, Inc.
