Many of you have seen the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge phenomenon that swept social media last year. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The ALS community needs support for those afflicted with this devastating disease. Many know someone this disease has touched and SPIA’s own John Landsiedel is battling it now.

We will video the challenge and post to SPIA’s Facebook and the SPIA website for anyone to access and nominate others to keep the challenge going.
